Bio for Hideaki Tsutsui – Lighting Designer

Hideaki Tsutsui (Lighting Designer) from Sapporo, Japan, earned a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design at Florida State University. While living in New York City he designed various shows including the Midtown International Theatre Festival for three seasons, and he was the assistant Lighting Designer for Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer on OMNIUM GATHERUM.  He toured as the Lighting Director for Cook, Dixon and Young (formally known as Three Mo’ Tenors).  He designed Osvaldo Golijov's La Pasión Según San Marcos national tour, and Moscow Circus USA tour.  He also served as the Lighting Director for Sing Along Santa in Seoul, Korea.  Hideaki is also the Lighting Designer for Mikel Rouse’s Failing Kansas; cameraworld, Music for Minorities, and The End of Cinematics.   Currently, he works at Eggshell lighting in Hawaii as the VP of Operations / Lighting Designer.
